Katie Vera Diehm, 77, of 211 Heather Lane, a lifetime resident of the Salem and Dallas areas, died Friday in an Independence nursing home.
Surviving are her widower, Gerhard, Dallas; a son, Merritt, Sunriver; two daughters, Florence Rash, Escondido, California and Marjorie Ward, Portland; a brother, Calvin Barnhart, Dallas, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Services were today in Bollman Funeral Home. Interment was in Falls City Cemetery.
