Son of Ed Cullom and Lola Lela Crooks Huggins.

Obituary in Bienvill Democrat:

Ed C. Huggins, 83, died Saturday night after a long illness. Huggins was a longtime resident of Ringgold and worked for 40 years as an engineer for a railroad commpany.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Huggins of Ringgold; one daughter, Mrs. Seward Thomas; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. M. D. Sheppard of Port Arthur, TX.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm Monday in the Ringgold Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Grant officiating assisted by the Rev. George Sherman and the Rev. A. P. Pilgreen. Masonic graveside services were held. Burial was under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home in Ringgold, LA.

Married Alvie Perritt in 1911 and they had four children: Evelyn Mae (died at young age), Edwina (Preceded him in death), Helen and Charles (preceded him in death).

He was a Railroad Engineer.
