Avis Esta Blair Jones was the daughter of Henry Turney Blair and Julia Louise "Julie" Honeycutt. She was married to Luther Myrkle Jones on December 23, 1911 in Snowball, Searcy, Arkansas. They had ten children.

Jones are to be held Friday, November 18, 1977 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Gotebo with Rev. O. A. Grantz, pastor officiating.

Avis Esta Jones was born January 12, 1892 at Snowball, Searcy, Arkansas to Henry and Julie Blair and died November 15, 1977 in Elkview Hospital at Hobart.

She was married to Myrkle Jones in Snowball, Searcy, Arkansas, December 23, 1911 and moved to Washita County, November, 1918. He preceded her in death, January 23, 1968.

Among her survivors are: Leon Jones, Bergman, Arkansas; Loyal Jones, Mt. Hope, Kansas; Mrs. Luther Baskett, Cooperton; Mrs. Gaylan Bond, Commanche; Carl Jones, Mustang; Mrs. Mary Williams, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Myrtle Waha, Springfield, Arkansas; Mrs. Greta Cannon, and Mrs. Wilma Allen, both of Oklahoma City; D.W. Jones of Gotebo, Oklahoma; 32 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Interment is to be in Gotebo Cemetery.
