Mrs. R. M. Farrington passed away at her home in Chelan, Wednesday, August 29, after a prolonged illness of six years.
Jean E. Patterson was born December 24, 1881, at Winthrop, Iowa, and when a child, moved with her parent to Emmons Co., North Dakota, where she grew to young womanhood.
Miss Patterson and R. M. Farrington were married November 16, 1905, at Linton, North Dakota, and to this union two children were born, Maxine and Jeannette.
Mr. and Mrs. Farrington and family lived in N. Dakota, then moved to Montana and later to Washington. In 1929 they moved to Chelan.
Mrs. Farrington has been ill since 1928, and though she has been confined to her bed a good share of the past six years, she always retained her loveable disposition and she will be missed by her many friends here and elsewhere.
She is survived by Mr. Farrington and two daughters, Mrs. Frank Kammer, and Mrs. Ford Barnes, and by two brothers, R. A. Patterson of Moscow, Idaho and C. A. Patterson, of Sherridan, Wyo.
