Aaron Van Cleave served as a juror in Rowan Co, NC and has been established as a Rev. War Patriot for the DAR.

* per Richard Clarke (48168697)
Born: Nieuw Utrecht, Flatlands (Flatbush), Breukelen (Brooklyn), Kings County, New York

* Per Allan Bishop VanCleave both are believed to be buried in the "Old Joppa" cemetery originally known as Burying Ground Ridge, which is just outside the town of Mocksville, NC and only about two miles from the home that they bought from Daniel Boone.

*Per Allan Wenzel: Aaron was the leader of a group who met for religious services at Dutchman’s Creek Meeting House, which is the Heidelberg Evangelical Lutheran Church, located several miles southeast of the Joppa Cemetery. And that is the cemetery Aaron and Rachel are in. Also, Aaron and Rachel lived in the area of the Heidelberg church, not at where Squire Boone Sr. had his home. The Joppa/Burying Ground Ridge Cemetery was a Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Aaron and Rachel were not Presbyterians.

Take the information with a grain of salt, the 3 men listed above can't agree on the information for my ancestor. I won't make any other changes until someone has a document to prove the information.
