John Clan Grayson was among early settlers in Madison County, AL, arriving before land sales began. He was on the original 1809 county census. His wife was Sallie Carter. Also believed buried here are family members, slaves and fever epidemic victims.

The cemetery is in a wooded area on the corner lot of Hidden Lake subdivison. The only sign of the cemetery is a small iron fence with a tree growing from it. There are no markers.
