By 1880 they had moved to Miami Twp., Hamilton Co. Ohio. By 1900, Frances was widowed and lived with daughter Clara (William O.) Butler in Cincinnati, Ohio and in 1930 in Stow Twp., Summit Co., Ohio.

She died January 6, 1932 at 86 (92 on burial card) years of age in Columbus, Ohio apparently while visiting or living with her niece, Alcinda Stukey (Amos Marion) York.
