"Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Ahlin, 63, who passed away Wednesday morning at the Municipal hospital in Virginia following a brief illness will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from the Graham funeral home and at 9:30 o'clock from the Holy Family church, with Rev. Fr. A. L. Pirnat officiating and interment will be in the local cemetery. The body will be taken to the home, 607 Adams avenue, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock an there will be a recitation of the rosary Friday evening at 8 o'clock.
The deceased was born in Jugoslavia March 15, 1879 and had been a resident of this community for the past 38 years. She was a member of the KSKJ lodge No. 59 and ZAS Nos. 1 and 19.
The deceased leaves as survivors her husband, Anthony; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Riley of New York; Miss Margaret, New York and Miss Jennie at home; six sons, Anthony, Jr., Eveleth; Frank, Virginia; John, Eveleth; Louis Longview, Washington; Rudolph, Eveleth and Bernard, Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Anton Gornik of Milwaukee and two grandchildren."
