Everett Dunlap
Everett Byron Dunlap, 86, passed away April 28, 2006, at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. Born in Grass Valley, Ore., he was a lifetime Oregonian who worked as a rancher and logger. After retiring, he moved to La Pine and married Creta Dunlap on April 19, 1999. During his life, he was a member of the Eagle Lodge, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and Odd Fellows, and High Lakes Christian Church in La Pine.
Mr. Dunlap is survived by sons, J. Dunlap of Goldendale, Wash., Jerry Dunlap of Crooked River Ranch, Leslie Dunlap of St. Helens, John Dunlap of Bend, a daughter, Vanessa Dunlap of Madras, and a stepson, Jim Fuller of La Pine. He has 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Vanessa (Rolfe) Dunlap, and a son, Charles M. Dunlap of Madras. A celebration of his life will be held, Saturday, May 6, at 11 a.m. at the High Lakes Christian Church in La Pine, officiated by the Rev. Marv Scherpf. Arrangements are under the direction of the Autumn Funeral Home. Memorial donations have been suggested to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Oregon.
