Prescott, Oct 10- Henry Augustus Martineau, one of the early Arizona Morman settlers
and former Latter Day Saints church bishop at Concho, Ariz, died last night at the
Arizona Pioneers home.
The pioneer settled in St Johns in 1879 after coming to Arizona from Utah, where he
was born in 1852. He entered the Pioneers' home in 1930.
Martineau leaves six children. Mrs Ida Jesperson and Howard Martineau, both of
Binghampton, Ariz.; Mrs Bertha Farnsworth, Mesa; Frank Martineau, Huntington Park,
Calif.; Charles Martineau, Colonia Juarez, Mexico, and Mrs Adele Whetten, Colonia
Chuhichupa, Mexico, and a sister, Mrs Elvira Johnson, Prescott. Funeral services were
held this afternoon.
