GASTONIA - Patricia Gail McNichols Daniels, 72, passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on Monday, October 19, 2020. She was born August 4, 1948 in Gaston County to the late Permley Wilson and Bertha KuyKendall McNichols.

She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Gaston Daniels.

Left to cherish her memories is her daughter Tisha Reed, and grandchildren Ashleigh Reed, Brandon Reed, and Blake Abernathy.

She will lie in state from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Friday, October 23, 2020.

Patricia's memorial service will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Sisk Butler Funeral Home with Tisha Reed officiating.

Pat was first married to Charles Givens. Charles was the son of Ophelia Fletcher Givens and Ernest Givens.

Douglas Gaston Daniels, Jr. AKA PHAT2SDAY on August 2, 2016 at the age of 55. He lost his battle to cancer after a very short illness. He is survived and fondly remembered by his life partner Gary Hargett. He was born in New Orleans on December 16, 1960, to the late Rosalie Nasello Daniels and Douglas Daniels Sr. From a very young age he loved Rhythm and Blues and started singing with Bobby Cure and his band. He sang at many venues through the years and all the Casinos, local and on the coast. He had one surviving sister Glee Daniels Fiegenschue. His brother Danny-Joe Daniels preceded him in death along with his wife Kathleen. He is also survived by his step-children Sara, Timothy, and Elizabeth Hargett and Trish Reed. He also left behind a loving Godchild Sal Battagalia. He was dearly loved by his niece Dana Wilson and husband Scott, along with their children, Ashley, Veronica, Kateryn and Malorie-Kate Wilson. Also deeply missed by step-siblings April, Sherry and Douglas Daniels III. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and fans. There will be a celebration of his life on, August 21, 2016, from 3:00PM - 6:00PM at The Willow, 8200 Willow St. New Orleans, LA
