Funeral services for Willie Clyde Evans, 78, of Kilmichael were held at Oliver Chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 with Mr. Dan Beardain officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood cemetery.
Mr. Evans, a native of Montgomery County and a retired machinist died Monday, April 23 at Kilmichael Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Evans. He was married to the late Mable Odom.
He is survived by two sons, Earl Evans of Ocean Springs and Joe Evans of Winona; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Wright of Memphis and Mrs. Kathy McLaughlin Winona; ten grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
