Albert Einstein is 34 degrees from Frank Heck

His father and mother were forced from their homeland Alsace-Lorraine and then immigrated to New Orleans, Louisiana. He was born in Louisiana.

His mother died when he was age 11. His father remarried and had two daughters (wife and daughters names unknown). From what I was told by my mom, he was not happy in this new arrangement.

He was a US Army Veteran of WW I (WW I July 1914 - November 1918). A census document from 1920 shows he was age 41, single, head of household and living in Oakland, Alameda, California.

♥ Wedding anniversary May 7th 1924 ♥

On May 7th of 1924, was the loving union of Frank Arthur Heck and Katherine Theresa "Kate" Keimig. "Kate" (my maternal grandma). She had immigrated to America from Bavaria, (Bayern) Germany in 1911 at the age of 17. Through this union they brought into this world a boy and a girl. They were residing in Vancouver, Washington. He adored his wife. He was well educated and a forward thinking man. His occupation post WWI was a butcher.

November 20th 1927 my grandma Katherine gave birth to a perfect beautiful boy and she held him in her arms. He died at birth, compromised by the umbilical cord, becoming their

✝ American Angel ✝

Their little light in the sky.

The burial of their Infant Son Heck was on the property of their home place in Vancouver, Washington. Shortly after, in 1928 she was with child again. Suddenly, Frank took ill from a sickness caused by his profession as a butcher and passed away. The following year my grandma gave birth to their baby, my mom.

He was a Woodmen Of the World (WOW) member. There is a Ritual Of The Woodmen book to follow protocol for funerals. The Woodmen are highly protective over their Sovereign and the unveiling of monuments. They provided the unique log shaped marker, referred to as a treestone. A fraternal organization founded in 1890 in Omaha, Nebraska.

✝︎ Baby Boy Heck Laid To Rest Twice ✝

My grandma Katherine had their infant son exhumed from the property of their home place. He was placed in with his father Frank at the time of the unveiling of his coveted WOW burial, to be together forever. There is no marker for their Infant Son Heck ,

Only a memorial page on Find A Grave.

While living in Vancouver, Washington, upon his passing at age 50, he left behind his adoring wife Katherine "Kate" and his second baby born posthumously. My grandma throughout her life always spoke fondly of my grandpa Frank. He was her first true love. I know my grandma never stopped loving him ❤❤ We only have three photos.

His story is a bit ironic because, grandma said, he actually did not really want any children. My grandma loved a challenge. To know her, be prepared to learn a life's lesson upon a challenge.

I so much want to have talked with him to know him. He is still Loved and Missed through the sharing of precious memories.

He honorably served his country.

Grandma's second husband John, he adopted Frank and Katherine's baby to raise as his own. Grandma outlived both husbands. Both markers are etched with incorrect dates. I remember her saying at her second husband's funeral, "Oh No, Not Again".
