Jon is survived by his wife, Jayla; son, James; daughter, Kayla;; parents, Stan and Marilyn Gootee and Darlene Schwandt; sister, Shalatha; grandparents, Linos and Mary Tarver, Sharlett Drake, Joe and Louetta Gootee; and many other relatives. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church. He had a loving heart and a unique admiration for his wife and children. He was very outgoing and he touched so many lives. He will always live in our hearts and our peace and comfort will come knowing he is looking down upon from heaven.
