Dorothy Blume

Dorothy Lois Blume was born on July 30, 1924 in San Bernadino, Calfornia to Lon and Stella Olsen. She passed away on Friday, January 26th at Providence St. Peter Hospital surrounded by her family.

Dorothy moved with her family the lacey area in 1952. She was a devoted wife and mother whose most cherished moments were spent with her family. Dorothy was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also loved world traveling with her husband Bob. She was especially talented at preparing gourmet meals for her family.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Robert, sons Larry and Gary (MaryJo) Blume, nephew Bud Chapel and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

A special viewing for family and friends will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Thursday, February 1, from 12:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Ruddell Road in Lacey at 1:00 p.m.

The Remains were returned to the Family and do not reside at Woodlawn Cemetery,
