A memorial service for Keith N. Dana, 59, Canton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at United Helpers Canton Nursing Home with the Rev. William G. Hart officiating. Burial will be at the family's convenience.

Mr. Dana died Tuesday at his home. He had been ill with coronary artery disease.

Arrangements are with O'Leary Funeral Service.

He had worked for the town of Russell and for Harmer Construction as an equipment operator and dug graves for the South Russell Cemetery. In 2005 he retired from the Canton Housing Authority as custodian of the Riverside Drive Towers.

Born July 27, 1949, in Canton, son of Elmer and Marjorie Duncan Dana, he graduated in 1967 from Knox Memorial School and in 1968 from Ogdensburg Business School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Dana enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, hunting and fishing.

A brother, Frederick, died before him.
