KNOX. -- Fred W. Baker, aged 60, died Friday morning in his home after a long illness. He had spent time in the Veterans' hospital, Indianapolis, returning to Knox two weeks ago. Mr. Baker was chaplain of the Spanish American War Veterans' chapter in Knox; was a member of the I.O.O.F. and was riding master of of the Wythougan Riding club here. Surviving are his widow; three children, Harlan, Hammond, Ind., and Marjorie and Fred Jr., at home, and several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received in the Hite funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Knox Methodist church, Rev. C. C. Harold officiating. Burial in Crown Hill cemetery.
