Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Homer Pumphrey and the Rev. Lee Geldmeier officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Jay was born in China Spring and was a member of a pioneer family. She was married to F. W. Jay in 1904. He died in 1934. She was the oldest member of China Spring United Methodist Church and also the oldest member to have served on the China Spring Cemetery Association Board.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J. M. (Claris) Allen and Mrs. John (Ruby) Murphy, both of Waco; son, Alton Jay of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. Anice Jenkins and Mrs. Maude Patterson, both of Waco; brother, Dewey Smith of Waco; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
