Anice Jenkins of Waco, an employee of R. E. Cox Department Store for 30 years, died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was 91.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Don Gallatin officiating.
Mrs. Jenkins was born March 4, 1902 in China Spring and lived in the Waco area all of her life. She married Warner Lee Jenkins on March 13, 1920 in Waco; he died February 17, 1964. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of North Waco Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Juanita J. Carswell and Mrs. Hallie M. Baldridge, both of Waco, and Mrs. Doris A. Manning of Salado; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
