He was predeceased by his parents Burl and Vera Bennett and brother Nord “Sparky” Bennett.
Dwane was born in Taber on September 4, 1935 to Burl and Vera Bennett. He lived all of his life in Taber. In his early years he was employed driving truck, on the oil rigs and worked in the bush. Dwane then worked for the M.D. of Taber for thirty years, retiring in 2000. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, fishing and driving his motor bike. Dwane became active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2000, serving in different capacities, always loving the people he served.
