Agata was born at 3 am and baptized later on the same day in Garliava Holy Trinity Church (Gotlevo village church aka Garliava).
Christening was held on the 24 January/5th of February 1884 (New Calendar), at 6pm in the Gotlevo village. Baby girl was born at 3 am on the same day in Kampiškiai village, Garliava parish to the legitimate parents: Anna Voitkunas (the maiden name is Keturakis), 30 years old and Andrey Voitkunas, 29 years old. Baby received the sacrament of Holy Baptism and was named AGATA.
Witnesses: Maciej Voitkunas 23 years old landlord from Kampiskiai village, and Jakubas Laurusevicius, 48 years old small land owner from Gotlevo village. God parents: Maciej Voitkunas and Elizabeth Keturakis.

In some records her name is Agatha but family knew her later in life as Agnes or Aggie.

She and her family moved from Lithuania to Scotland sometime by 1900. They were living in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland in 1900. Agata Woytkunas is listed as a witness for her sister, Katrina's, marriage to Jurgis Pukas at that time.

She married Adam Litvinis (Litwin) in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland on 29 Jan 1904. Adam left for America sometime between Dec. 1904 and May 1905.

On 20 May 1905, Agnes and her daughter, Annie (who was born in Scotland) left Scotland on the Caledonia and arrived in New York on May 29, 1905.

The family settled in 1163 Keyser Avenue in Scranton, Pa. They took in lodgers and "Aggie" was considered a matchmaker. She told her sister Katrina that Joe Kaminchaitis (one of her lodgers) would be good for the children (Polly and Andrew) Katrina had by her first marriage. And she told Joe that Katrina would be good for him. They married and had 51 years together.

Agnes and Adam had 14 children together:
1. Anna Litwin Dalon
2. Catherine Litwin (Kaporch, then Bendor)
3. Mary Litwin Muhler
4. George Litwin
5. Vera Litwin Dyer
6. John Litwin (Julie's twin)
7. Julie Litwin Sward(John's twin)
8. Joseph "Joey" Litwin, who died at home of ulcerative colitis at the age of 6 months.
9. Helen Litwin, who died just shy of 4 months old of cholera.
10. James Litwin
11. Joseph Litwin
12. Jeanne Litwin Russell
13. Benedict Litwin
14. Agnes Litwin

They lived at other residences in Pennsylvania. Adam died of congestive heart failure at the age of 63. Agnes later moved to Miami, Florida.

She was known as a fun and loving grandmother and loved spending time with her numerous grandchildren who came to visit.
