Reva Harryman Heitman, 98, of Arma, Kansas died at 11:58 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Via Christi Hospital at Pittsburg, Kansas.
Mrs. Heitman was born December 18, 1918 in rural Arcadia, Kansas the daughter of Jamsey and Martha Thomas Jones.
Reva was a homemaker and also worked as a private sitter for years before retiring.
She was raised in rural Arcadia and attended Gross Schools. She had lived in the Arma area for most of her life.
She married Claude W. Harryman on February 5, 1935 at Fr. Scott, Kansas. Mr. Harryman preceded her in death January 4, 1979.
She later married Jack Heitman in June 1999 in Arma, Kansas. Mr. Heitman preceded her in death November 17, 2016.
Survivors include four sons, Kenny (Judy) Harryman, Garry (Carol) Harryman, Greg (Karri) Harryman, and Mark Harryman all of Arma, a daughter, Kathy (John) McCabe of Frontenac, four step-children, Barry, Jerry, and Bill Heitman, and Wendy Schmidt Strukel, nine grandsons, five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a son, Rick Harryman, a step-son, Bryan Heitman, seven brothers, Art, Adam, Ralph, Olive, Elvis, Norman, and Marvin Jones, and four sisters, Gladys Smith, Nova Swezey, Opal Rhodes, and Emerald Tisu.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas with Pastor Jeff Rose officiating.
Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. Friday at the Bedene Chapel in Arma.
The family suggests memorials to Angels Among Us. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
