Clarence Fauver
POINT PLEASANT — Clarence Frederick "Buddy" Fauver, 76, of Point Pleasant, passed away January 22, 2017, at his home due to a sudden illness.
He was born March 19, 1940 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Fredrick Raymond and Ethel Roberta (Jones) Fauver.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Olive Alberta (Sayre) Fauver; grandson, James Frederick Fauver Jr.; brother, Wendell Fauver; sister, Hester Ann Benson.
He was a United States Army veteran. He was retired from Constellium, Ravenswood, with 49 years of service and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local # 5668. Clarence was a trustee for the Baden-Presbyterian Cemetery Association, Leon.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Catherine Mae (Riffle) Rice Fauver; son, James F. (Lou Ann) Fauver of Handley, WV; brothers, Kermit (Belva) Fauver of Leon and Richard (Pam) Fauver of Mount Alto; sister, Ruth (Jack) Pickens of Letart; step-son, Bobby (Brittany) Rice of Leon; step-daughters, Cathy Greene of Mason and Connie (D.J.) Dewees of Point Pleasant; twelve grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the Baden-Presbyterian Church, Leon, with Pastor Delton Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors provided by the Jackson County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans.
