Mr. Robert Thomason Sharman, 59, of Amite, LA., and formerly of Albany, GA., passed away January 3, 2017.
Graveside funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Danny Story, Jr. officiated.
A native of Albany, Mr. Sharman was born on October 9, 1957 and was a 1976 graduate of Deerfield Windsor School. He worked as a millwright in the construction industry for many years and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, O.B. Thomason, Sr. and Elizabeth Thomason Gilmore of Columbus, GA; paternal grandparents, Euclid Sharman and Essie Dobson Sharman of LaGrange, GA; father, Dr. J. Harold Sharman, Sr. of Albany; his wife, Ester Marie Wilson Sharman; brother, Jepp Harold Sharman, Jr.; sister, Marilyn Sharman Pitts Hughey and son, Michael Edward Sharman.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Sharman of Amite, LA; mother, Carolyn Thomason Sharman of Albany; daughter, Sabrina Stormy Sharman of Lee County; sister-in-law, Deborah Sue Sharman of Savannah.
