Mrs. Carolyn Thomason Sharman, 92, of Albany, peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, May 16, 2022.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Floral Memory Gardens with Rev. Dan Story, Jr. officiating.

Born August 18, 1929, in Phenix City, AL, she was the daughter of the late O.B. Thomason, Sr. and Elizabeth Smith Thomason. Mrs. Sharman graduated from Columbus High School and later attended LaGrange College. She worked in the registrar's office at Auburn University and became a lifelong Auburn fan. She was a faithful member of Morningside United Methodist Church and loved the Lord dearly. She spent years as a secretary working alongside her husband at his veterinary practice and was a wonderful mother. Mrs. Sharman was known as a Godly woman who endured much during her lifetime, but always kept a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J. Harold Sharman, Sr.; two sons, Jepp Harold Sharman, Jr., and Robert Thomason Sharman; daughter, Marilyn Sharman Hughey; grandson, Michael Sharman; daughter -in-law, Esther Wilson Sharman; and her sister-in-law, Sally Sharman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Mischelle Townsend (Zack) of Leesburg, Jepp Harold Sharman III of Atlanta, and Sabrina Stormy Sharman of Leesburg; great-grandchildren, Sarah Townsend and Zachary Townsend, Jr. both of Leesburg; brother, O.B. Thomason, Jr. of Nashville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and care givers that loved her dearly.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Morningside United Methodist Church, St. Jude's, or the charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Sharman.

Hall and Hall Funeral Home was given the honor to serve the Sharman family.
