MINONK — Eileen R. Charlier, 82, of Minonk passed away at 6:15 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 10, 2016), at Heritage Health, Minonk.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk, with the Rev. Joy Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Minonk Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the church or to Heritage Health, Minonk. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is assisting the family with services.
Eileen was born March 29, 1934, in Minonk Township, the daughter of John and Anna Timmerman Carls. She married Wilbur Charlier on May 29, 1955, in Minonk. He survives, along with four children, Allen (Jackie) Charlier, Dana; Linda (Michael) Plant, Broken Arrow, Okla.; and Deborah Charlier-Carr and Kevin (Michelle) Charlier, both of Minonk; one sister, Aldine (Kenny) Cowell, Dunlap; two brothers, Glen (Burnette) Carls and Dewain (Barb) Carls, both of Minonk; sister-in-law, Pat Carls; and two brothers-in-law, Prentis Ladtkow and Ernest Carlson. She has seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law, Charlie Carr; two brothers, Donald and Dennis; and two sisters, Joann Ladtkow and Evelyn Carlson.
Eileen was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk. She had been employed by Chicago Butchers for 26 years as a clerk. She was also a homemaker who was a loving, wife, mom, sister and grandma. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Health in Minonk for their loving care.
