Carolyn Jeanette Todd, 74, formerly of Napa, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2016, in North Highlands, California.

Carolyn was born July 7, 1942, the daughter of the late Willie Todd and Shirley Quaini.

Carolyn spent her career as a psychiatric technician serving at Sonoma, Napa, and Fairview State Mental Hospitals. She spent more than 20 years in the Long Beach area where she enjoyed the outdoors and became associated with the Sierra Club—- sharing and supporting its members’ views on California lands and the environment.

Carolyn was of the Baha’i’ faith and was also a great lover of dogs. She is remembered by her siblings as extremely intelligent and perceptive, with great academic abilities and an early interest in computers, science and folk music.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Deirdre Forcier, her husband Normand, and Deirdre’s children, Erica Hillyer and Jeff Owen; and two brothers, Robert Borcyckowski, and his wife, Denise, and James Quaini.

She will be missed too by her beloved white cockapoo, “Misty.”
