Lou Narovec, 77, of Waco, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at Providence Hospice Place. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Cary Killough officiating. Visitation will be 5:30 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.

Lou was born in Waco to Robert and Mina (Black) Johnson. After high school she went to work for Piggly Wiggly Food Store where she met Ed Narovec. They were married May 11, 1963. After their marriage, she went to work for Certainteed Corporation for25 years. In 1986, Lou opened her own business, The Bridal Gallery, which she operated until she retired in 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; several sisters and a brother.
