Butord A. Ballard died from an apparent heart attack last Thursday morning about 11:00 o'clock while drivine his pickup on Fort Griffin Road. The attack caused the pickup to hit a fire plug near the elementary school. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 54 years of age.Mr. Ballard was one of the best known men in the community, having been distributor for th eFt. Worth Star Telegram and Abilene Repoter News for many years. He also ranched here, and was interested in 4-H and FFA livestock show.He was born at Olney
