The oldest of five generations, at the age of 87, Mrs. Sarah Margaret Hendricks died Monday afternoon at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Henry Burks, 1120 North Walnut street, the result of the complications of old age. The family moved here from Hendricksville community and the deceased was a most lovable, Christian woman, a faithful member of church.
The sons are Berry and Ona of this, and the daughters are Mrs. Henry Burks, Mrs. Maggie Phelps, of this city; Mrs. Lizzie Abrams, of Greene county, and Mrs. Mary Hendricks, of Bean Blossom. There are 44 grand children, 84 great grandchildren and four of the fifth generation. Funeral Wednesday at 2 o'clock at Liberty Church, in charge of Rev. Harvey.
