Services for John will be held at the First United Brethern Church in Chanute where he was a member, Thursday afternoon at 1:00 pm. with D.W. Smith officiating. Burial will be in High Prairie Cemetery north of Altoona, Ks.
John & Lillie (Latta) Russell were married on Sept. 5 1906. & they set up Housekeeping on a farm in a Wilson Co. John and Lillie had lived on various farms in Wilson & Neosho County's before moving 6 Miles S.W. of Humbolt, Ks where he died.
Surviving John are his wife Lillie, of the home and his 6 Children, Charles Kenneth, Lester Ernest, Mildred Doris, Marjorie Eilene, Clyde Lee & Edgar Joseph, All of Humbolt Ks. his parents, Mr. & Mrs. J.P. Russell of Chanute; 4 brothers, Homer Russell; Lonnie Russell; Charley Russell; & Ralph Russell all of near Altoona; & one Sister, Mrs. Viola Trichler of Altoona. A Grandchild also survives. 1 daughter, Doris Helen preceded him in death.
