Donald G. Galloway, 70, Buena Park, Calif., and formerly of Alexandria, died March 31, in California following an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Elwood.
He lived most of his life in Alexandria, moving to Buena Park, in 1963. He was employed by Delco Battery in both Muncie and Anaheim, Calif., as a senior process engineer, retiring in 1981. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II, and was a former member of the Alexandria American Legion.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Galloway of Buena Park, and Don R. Galloway of Lakeport, Calif.; three daughters, Cindy Stitt of Summitville, Mary Patterson of Taft, Calif., and Margaret Dotson of Kent, Wash.; one brother, three sisters, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Following cremation in California, private interment will be in the Elwood City Cemetery. Local arrangements are being handled by the Nloffze Funeral Home in Alexandria.
