John Clyde Bonner, 84, returned to his Heavenly Father Wednesday, September 22, 1993 in San Diego, California.
Born January 24, 1909 in Heber City, Utah to William and Fannie Mae Clyde Bonner, Jr. Married Marian Kathryn Angelus January 28, 1936. She returned to her Heavenly Father November 11, 1971. Member of the Operating Engineers Local Union of Salt Lake City. Retired since 1971. He was always proud of and enjoyed his family very much. He also enjoyed his many friends. He was an avid golfer.
Survived by daughters, Marilyn Jean Petersen and husband, Jay; Bette Ann Fennemore Wight and husband, Dr. Earl Wight; sons, William Clyde and wife, Yolanda; John Kenneth and wife, Pamela; Jeffrey Craig and wife, Barbara; preceded in death by son, Steven Clark; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clark, Washington, Utah; Garth, Salt Lake City; preceded in death by one brother, Ken and four sisters, Bennie Klotz, Lyle Thomas, Ida Ringwood and Avis Gannuscia.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South where friends may call Monday evening 7 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral directors: Evans & Early.
