Kay’s greatest joy was being with her family. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was able to remain independent with the loving help of her entire family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her parents, Lake E. and Carrie C. Gilbert and three brothers, Dwight, Lewis and William Gilbert.
Kay is survived by her son, Eddie Singleton (Rachel), daughter, Deana Alexander (Jim), brother, F.E. Gilbert (Chenin), sister, Jeanie Gilbert, grandchildren, Michael Singleton, Kari Ingram, Ryan Evans, Daniel Evans Sr., Aimee Jones, and nine great grandchildren and her cousin, Nina Moore, who always made her laugh.
