CAMDEN, AR – Graveside services for Mr. Herman R. “PeeWee” Crump, 83, of Camden, AR will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in Providence Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Casey Hough. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 10:00 A. M. until 12:00 P.M. at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA. Mr. Crump was born December 22, 1932 in Ringgold, LA and passed away April 26, 2016 in Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Camden, AR after a lengthy illness. He grew up and lived in Ringgold, LA for over seventy years before moving to Camden, AR. Mr. Crump was a carpenter with his dad, together they built many houses, churches and buildings around the Ringgold area. He was a school bus driver for Bienville Parish School Board for several years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Ringgold, LA and attended First Baptist Church in Camden, AR. All his life he always had dogs that he loved and cared for. Mr. Crump was proud of his family, cherished his time with them and loved them very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper T. and Mildred Watson Crump. Left to cherish his memory include the love of his life and wife of 60 years, Pat Riser Crump of Camden, AR.; sons, Dr. Mark Crump and wife, Kim of Camden, AR and Rev. Mike Crump of Camden, AR; daughter, Sheri Crump Block and husband, David of Carrollton, TX; sister, Martha Crump Ryan of Minden, LA; grandchildren, Allison Block of Carrollton, TX, Christopher Block of Carrollton, TX, Nicholas Crump and wife, Hailey of Little Rock, AR and Emily Crump and fiancé, Nicholas Archer of Hot Springs, AR; great granddaughter, Lexi Crump of Little Rock, AR and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Crump, Christopher Block, David Block, Nicholas Archer, Paul Riser, and Keith Ryan. The family would like to extend their appreciation and thank the Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Camden, AR and the Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice, Camden, AR. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
