CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Lt. Col. Thomas F. Brubaker of 539 S. Coldbrook Ave., died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Penn Hall, Chambersburg. Born in Lebanon, Pa., he was the son of the late Gerald and Margaret Miller Brubaker. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a lieutenant colonel, serving in World War II and the Vietnam War. He served with the 366th Fighter Group. He was a highly decorated officer. He also was employed as the business manager at South Mountain Restoration Center, South Mountain, Pa., retiring in June 1999. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg. He was a member of the Air Force Association and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine A. Catanzaro Brubaker; a son, John M. Brubaker of Raeford, N.C.; and a brother, Arnold Brubaker of Madison, N.J. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. Monsignor Thomas R. Brenner will be celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to The V Foundation for Cancer Research, 100 Towerview Court, Cary, NC 27513.
