A committal service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on February 12, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Olympia, WA at 3:00 p.m. following the committal.

He is survived by his loving family: wife of 60 years, three daughters, one son; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grand-children. He was an active member of the Methodist Church and the AirStream Travel Club. He hoped to be remembered as a Christian, Husband, Father, Soldier and an Educator.
