ALICE WEAVER FUNERAL SET FOR THURSDAY
Alice G. Weaver, 77, widow of Frank E. Weaver, died Tuesday in a Mason City hospital. She had been a lifelong resident of Cerro Gordo County and made her home at 123 13th NE.
Mrs. Weaver was born June 3, 1885, in Owen Township near Cartersville, daughter of James and Emy (Wells) Myers. She was married to Frank E. Weaver in 1908 in Minneapolis.
Surviving are five sons, Claude Weaver, Clinton, Francis Weaver, Mason City, Harold Weaver, Centerville, and Everett and Lyle Weaver, Mason City; one daughter, Mrs. William W. (Alice Jane) Maxwell, Mason City, 22 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. James (Gladys) Lusby, Houston, Texas, and Stella Gillen, Sioux Falls, S.D., also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, June 29, 1926, and a daughter, a son, three brothers and a sister.
Mrs. Weaver was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Patterson-James Mason City Chapel. The Rev Lloyd C. Kellams, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rockwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers selected are Edward and Vincent Murphy, Ernest and Leon Hitzhusen, Paul Cahalan and Richard O'Connor. Mrs. Richard Lockwood and Mrs. Alvin Hagen will be in charge of flowers.
Visitation at the chapel scheduled until 2 p.m. Thursday.
