He served in World War 1, in
The Royal Dublin Fusiliers.
7th Battalion.
"The Pals".

They were formed in Landsowne Road, following the outbreak of the war.
The 7th Battalion took very heavy casualties at Gallipoli,
in 1915.

Alexander Wolseley King, a bachelor, a Printer, of Arran, Howth, Co. Dublin, son of William King, a Printer, and Tempe Kathleen Mary Knaggs, formerly Fenton, a widow, of Hotel House, Howth, Co. Dublin, daughter of George Fenton, a Gentleman Farmer, were married on 18 September 1911, at Howth Parish Church [C of I], Howth, Co. Dublin.

Death Certificate.
Alexander Wolseley King, aged 56, married, of Independent Means, of Rus-in-Urbe, Dun Laoghaire, died at his home on 6 March 1934.
The cause of death was Chronic Pulmonary Tuberculosis, 12 years, Acute Exacerbation of Pulmonary Tubes, certified.
The informant of his death was Kate Butler, of 51 Desmond Avenue, present at death, who registered it on 14 March 1934.
