"Isaac E. Wilbur, the well-known landscape painter, died at his residence in Rochester last Sunday evening, aged about 54 years. He had confined himself so closely that an attack of congestion of the brain caused his death, living only about two weeks. He will be remembered here, where he had many earnest friends. Aside from his being first in his profession, he was a genial christian gentleman. His remains were interred at Avon on Tuesday."
