Roy McCormick (Pat), 75 of Lexington, died Friday February 3, 1995, in The V. A. Medical Center, Salem. Mr. McCormick was born March 17, 1919, in Rockbridge County and was the son of the late Charles D. McCormick and Willie Fainter McCormick.

He was a member of the Lauderdale A. R. P. Church.

Mr. McCormick was preceeded in death by his wife, Virginia F. McCormick.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and John McDaniel, Glasgow, Barbara (Jeanie) and Buddy Patterson, Vinton; two brothers, William D. McCormick, Woodbridge, Preston H. McCormick, Lexington; four grandchildren, Greg McDaniel, Roanoke, Shannon Patterson and wife, Tracy, Vinton, Troy Patterson and wife, Cheri, Vinton, Ginger McDaniel, Glasgow; three great-grandchildren, Kendall, Ashleigh and Taylor Patterson; special friend and caregiver of the family, Ruth Coleman.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 1995, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Zeb Carson Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, at the Harrison Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
