Obituary
Bob was born September 3, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas to Atticus Leo Stevens and Beulah Ballew Stevens. He attended Fort Worth schools, General Motors Institute, Texas Christian University and was proud to have served two tours of duty in the US Army. He has resided in Furrs, MS for the last 43 years.
Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Kirkpatrick Stevens; son, Michael Stevens of Ft. Worth and his wife Vickie; son, John Harvey of Springtown, TX and wife Vicki; daughter, Dorinda Stevens of Pontotoc; grandchildren, Spenser Stevens, "Little Bubba", Skyler Vanderford and Morgan Harvey; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loved ones. The family is especially grateful to caregivers, Tracy Linley, Derrell Seale and Kerry Crew who devoted themselves to Bob and his family during their time of need.
He is preceded in death by his parents Atticus and Beulah Ballew Stevens, siblings-Rose Ann Srevens Polson, Sandra Nell Stevens Day and Donny Stevens.
Services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Zion Presbyterian Church in the Furrs Community. Interment will follow in the Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Stevens, Tracy Linley, Derrell Seale, Steve Day, Kerry Crew and honorary pallbearer, James Jenkins.
Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
