Beulah Dorthrea Ballew Stevens, 94, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011. Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Beulah was born Nov. 21, 1917, in Emmitt, Navarro County, to Jacob Franklin and Mary Lindsey Ballew. She loved her family, singing and her church. Her father was a founding elder of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church on Sixth Avenue. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, three children and two grandchildren.

Survivors: Son, Bobby Frank Stevens (Doris) of Tupelo, Miss.; grandchildren, Michael K. Stevens (Vickie) of Fort Worth, Dorinda Stevens of Pontotoc, Miss., Steven W. Day (Vicki) of Keller, Terri Day Watts (Terry) of Keller, Randy Day (Stacy) of Keller, Sidney Dwane Polson of Garden Acres, Kevin Bell (Carmen) of Burleson, Brenda Bell of Victoria, Wesley Scott Stevens of Fort Worth, Kelli Levy Stevens (Ronnie) of College Station and Kathy Stevens Watson (Phillip) of Glen Rose; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
