John S. Bobbitt Sr., 59, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Born Sept. 20, 1934, in Mount Vernon to Heber and Sophia Myers Bobbitt, he married Mary Jane Bradley on April 18, 1954, in Fort Sill, Okla. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Wayne Bobbitt and John S. Bobbitt Jr.; two daughters, Julia Lynn Bobbitt and Mrs. Steven (Jane) Tighe; two brothers, Everett Wayne Bobbitt and Heber Bobbitt. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
He was an Army veteran.
He was director of sales for John P. Pearl and Associates Ltd.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Xenia.
