Frank Angelo Gertino, age 84, died August 16, 1990 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born July 24, 1906 in Pueblo, Colorado to Angelo and Eva Martellaro Gertino. He married Isabel Hurst in 1934; later divorced. Married Edna Gabbitas Bissell in 1960 and she died in 1984. Prior to retirement was self-employed as scrap dealer in scrap metals in Salt Lake for most of his life. Member of the Catholic Church.Survived by a daughter, Eva Heiner; sons, Frank and Jack Gertino; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Gertino, Josephine Pezely, Katherine Hill, and Virginia Langford; all of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by a brother, Kelly.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 21st, at 10 a.m., at the Catherdral of the Madeleine, 331 East South Temple with committal services to follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Monday evening vigil 6-8 pm (with Holy Rosary at 7:30 pm) at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.
