Clair A. Bearer, Jr., 86, of Versailles, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Home in Wilmore, Kentucky. Clair was born on February 26, 1929 in Evansburg, Pennsylvania to the late Clair Bearer, Sr. and Regina "Jean" Buck Bearer. Clair was a retired airplane mechanic. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Ethel Haynes Bearer; Step-Daughter, Melinda Vaught; Step-Sons, Delones Vaught and Ricky Vaught; Two sisters, Patty Ladouccur and Ruth Bearer; Two grandchildren, Melissa Jones and Christopher Vaught.
In addition to his parents, Clair was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Elizabeth Bearer; His twin brother, Eugene Bearer; One brother, Paul Bearer.
Burial will be at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County, Kentucky
