Our beloved father, Martin T. Barrios, 92, was received into the Kingdom of Heaven on October 5, 2015, in his lifelong residence of Corpus Christi, Texas. Martin was born on November 12, 1922, in Clarkwood, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II and was also a member of the American G.I. Forum.

Martin is now at peace with all those that have gone before, in particular his wife, Andrea Barrios, son, Martin Barrios Jr., and granddaughter, Francis Faith Cerda.

He is survived by his brother, Blas Barrios of Corpus Christi, Texas, daughters, Esther B. Medina, Sylvia Hill and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., that same evening.

Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
