Ada arrived in America at the age of 11 with her mother and 2 younger sisters. They landed at Ellis Island, New York. The family made their home in Chicago, Illinois along with her older brother and father who had arrived in America before the women. Later they moved to California. Her and David Pryor met in California. They married 3 Aug 1904 and had 5 children. She contracted Tuberculosis and lived in a recovery tent outside the main house. Awhile later after she was well and moved back into the main house she contracted pneumonia and died. The child on her lap was her son Arthur.
