Arthur was one of five children. His mother died when he was 6 years old. He lived at the Masonic Home for Children in Covina Township, Los Angeles, California until he was able to be on his own.
On 21 Oct 1949 he married Goldie A "Bemis" Bennette and they had a daughter Judith Ann Pryor. They divorced bef: 1955. He liked riding his motorcycle. He was a Sargent in the US Army during WW II. On 10 Aug 1963 he married again to Maxine F Shadron.
Upon his death he was survived by his wife Maxine, his daughter Judith and one step-son Charles Bennette.
