GREAT VALLEY - Jack W. Thomas, 68, of Great Valley, passed away Sunday (Aug. 2, 2015) at Olean General Hospital.
He was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Prince George, Md., a son of the late Melvin and Lula Woody Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was a mechanic, contractor and truck driver. He also worked at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville.
He was a member of the Humphrey Volunteer Fire Department and loved riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his fiancee, Janice Davies of Great Valley; three daughters, Lisa, Jackie and Rosalee; a son, Donald (Mary) Weaver of Kill Buck; a stepson, Frank (Tina) Ambrose of Silver Creek; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and two adopted great-grandchildren, Riley and Aubrianna.
Mr. Thomas was predeceased by two brothers, Floyd and Clyde Thomas; and two sisters, Viola Riley and Gracie Robinson.
Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley.
